The French Institute for Higher National Defense Studies (IHEDN) organized within the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) a course dedicated to “European Union facing hybrid threats challenges.
Hybrid threats and hybrid war is a challenge for every environment, Country, and International Organization.
Maritime environment and maritime issues could largely be impacted by irregular and/or illegal, critical, and unusual situations that such threats can provoke, commonly “under the threshold of normal situational awareness”.

05 August 2020 – Change of AMSCC Command
On Wednesday, August 05, 2020, Captain(Ν) Nikolaos Evgenios Badras HN handed over command duties of Athens Multinational Sealift Coordination Center – AMSCC to Captain(Ν) Petros Stellakis HN.
Representatives from HNDGS had the opportunity to greet the Captain Nikolaos Evgenios Badras HN and welcome the new Director.

20 September 2019 – Change of AMSCC Command
On Friday, September 20, 2019 Captain(Ν) Pavlos Panagiotopoulos HN handed over command duties of Athens Multinational Sealift Coordination Center AMSCC to Captain(Ν) Nikolaos Evgenios Badras HN.
A farewell reception took place in AMSCC’s premises, in which representatives from HNDGS had the opportunity to greet the Captain Pavlos Panagiotopoulos HN and welcome the new Director.

Visit of AMSCC delegation to MCCE
On 6th March 2019 an AMSCC delegation paid a return visit to Eindhoven Netherlands to hold a follow-up meeting with MCCE counterparts. The purpose of the meeting was to explore possibilities of joint action that will help both parties become more effective in sealift provision. Both MCCE and AMSCC staff noted that pressing issues on transportation can be addressed through collaboration.
